For the first time ever, the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Alabama Crimson Tide will do battle on the football field. The Mountaineers sport the 14th-best winning percentage all time in college football. This will be West Virginia’s first trip back to the Georgia Dome since a 38-35 win over No. 7 Georgia in the 2006 Sugar Bowl.  The Tide are fresh off their sixth straight 10-win season and hold an 18-game winning streak away from home. Alabama, coached by Fairmont, W.Va., native and former WVU assistant Nick Saban, has claimed three of the last five BCS National Championships.
