Design-build teams met at the site of the new ballpark on Thursday afternoon.
About 30 representatives from the four prequalified design-build firms met with a panel this afternoon in the Jerry West Lounge to discuss the Monongalia County ballpark Request for Proposal (RFP) that was released last week.

Fielding questions and explaining the RFP criteria to the teams of contractors and architects were WVU project manager Bill Linn, Mark Stewart from the WVU Procurement Office, Bill Mykins of Brailsford & Dunlavey and Eric Peek from Heery International, Inc. Mykins is the criteria developer, while Peek is the design architect.

The group then changed venues and went to the University Towne Center to view the site and ask any questions they had.

Bidding will take place through December and the winning bidder will likely mobilize as early as January.
