Fifteen former West Virginia University football players are currently on NFL rosters, while one is on a practice squad roster.

Here is an update on each of them following week eight of the NFL season.

Corey McIntyre - Buffalo Bills
While playing on offense and special teams, McIntyre recorded one tackle in the Bills 37-31 loss to the Patriots.

J.T. Thomas - Chicago Bears
Thomas contributed on special teams in the Bears 13-6 loss to the Texans, but did not record any statistics.

Adam Jones - Cincinnati Bengals
In the Bengals 31-13 win over the Giants, Jones recorded five tackles, broke up three passes and returned two punts for a total of 77 yards, including a long of 68 yards.

Jones also forced one fumble in the game.

Robert Sands - Cincinnati Bengals
Sands has been placed on injured reserve, after he suffered a season-ending chest injury.

Don Barclay - Green Bay Packers
The Packers were idle this week.

Pat McAfee - Indianapolis Colts
McAfee had two of his three punts, which went for a total of 135 yards, downed inside the 20-yard line in the Colts 27-10 win over the Jaguars.

McAfee is averaging 47.8 yards per punt this season, which ranks ninth in the NFL.

Selvish Capers - New York Giants
Capers is on the Giants' practice squad.

Ellis Lankster - New York Jets
In the Jets 28-7 loss to the Seahawks, Lankster recorded five tackles, including four solo stops, and had one forced fumble.

Owen Schmitt - Oakland Raiders
Schmitt recorded one tackle, while playing on offense and special teams in the Raiders 55-20 loss to the Ravens.

Will Johnson - Pittsburgh Steelers
Johnson received his fourth starting nod of the season and recorded one catch for seven yards in the Steelers 16-13 win over the Chiefs.

Ryan Mundy - Pittsburgh Steelers
Mundy made one tackle in the Steelers 16-13 win over the Chiefs.

Bruce Irvin - Seattle Seahawks
In the Seahawks 28-7 win over the Jets, Irvin recorded two sacks along with two tackles.

Irvin now has seven sacks this season, which ranks him first amongst rookies and ties him for No. 10 in the NFL.

Najee Goode - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Goode was inactive for the Buccaneers 34-24 win over the Chargers.

Keith Tandy - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tandy was active for the Buccaneers 34-24 win over the Chargers, but he did not record any statistics.

Darius Reynaud - Tennessee Titans
In the Titans 37-3 win over the Dolphins, Reynaud carried the ball four times for a total of 15 yards and returned five kicks (four punts and one kickoff) for a total of 75 yards, including a punt return long of 27 yards.

Chris Neild - Washington Redskins
Neild has been placed on injured reserve, after he suffered a season-ending knee injury.
