Pro Football Update

Sixteen former West Virginia University football players are currently on NFL rosters.

Here is an update on each of them following week 13 of the NFL season.

Corey McIntyre - Buffalo Bills
McIntyre played on offense and special teams in the Bills 34-18 win over the Jaguars.

J.T. Thomas - Chicago Bears
Thomas, who contributed on special teams, did not record any statistics in the Bears 23-17 loss to the Seahawks

Adam Jones - Cincinnati Bengals
Jones returned two punts for a total of 39 yards, including a long of 24 yards, as he saw action on defense and special teams in the Bengals 20-13 win over the Chargers.

Robert Sands - Cincinnati Bengals
Sands has been placed on injured reserve, after he suffered a season-ending chest injury.

Don Barclay - Green Bay Packers
Barclay stepped in to play right tackle for the Packers and paved the way for a touchdown run in the Packers 23-14 win over the Vikings.

Pat McAfee - Indianapolis Colts
In the Colts 35-33 win over the Lions, McAfee punted eight times for a total of 400 yards and a 50 yards per punt average.

The fourth-year pro ranks fifth in the NFL with a yards per punt average of 48.4 yards.

Selvish Capers – New York Giants
Capers was inactive for the Giants 17-16 loss to the Redskins.

Ellis Lankster - New York Jets
Lankster received his first starting nod of the season in the Jets 7-6 win over the Cardinals. In addition, he recorded three tackles.

Owen Schmitt - Oakland Raiders
In the Raiders 20-17 loss to the Browns, Schmitt got the starting nod, but he did not record any statistics.

Will Johnson - Pittsburgh Steelers
Despite leaving the contest early with a possible concussion, Johnson hauled in two passes for nine yards in the Steelers 23-20 win over the Ravens.

Ryan Mundy - Pittsburgh Steelers
Mundy recorded one tackle in the Steelers 23-20 win over the Ravens.

Bruce Irvin - Seattle Seahawks
Irvin did not record any statistics in the Seahawks 23-17 win over the Bears.

Irvin has seven sacks this season, which ranks first amongst rookie and has him tied for No. 20 in the NFL.

Najee Goode - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Goode was not active in the Buccaneers 31-23 loss to the Broncos.

Keith Tandy - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tandy was active for the Buccaneers 31-23 loss to the Broncos, but he did not record any statistics.

Darius Reynaud - Tennessee Titans
In the Titans 24-10 loss to the Texans, Reynaud returned six punts for 65 yards and two kickoffs 56 yards.

Chris Neild - Washington Redskins
Neild has been placed on injured reserve, after he suffered a season-ending knee injury.
