Syracuse coach Doug Marrone and West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen pose for a photograph with the George Steinbrenner Trophy during today’s Pinstripe Bowl news conference at Yankee Stadium.

West Virginia and Syracuse will meet on Saturday, Dec. 29 in a game that will kick off at 3:15 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPN.

West Virginia finished its season with a 7-5 overall record, including back-to-back wins over Iowa State and Kansas to conclude the regular season. Syracuse, also 7-5, won five of its last six and finished in a four-way tie for first place in the Big East with a 5-2 record.
