MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU football season ticket holders can now renew their 2013 season tickets online at WVUGAME.com. By renewing online, fans will save $10 on the order fee. The priority renewal deadline is Wednesday, May 15, and ticket renewal statements for the 2013 WVU football campaign will be mailed to current season ticket holders later this week.

Fans who have not previously renewed their tickets online will receive instructions in the upcoming renewal mailing; those who have previously renewed their tickets online can log in to their account using the email address and password they used to create their online account.

Fans also can make their Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) season ticket priority gift online at WVUGAME.com. Further instructions for making a MAC gift online are also included in the renewal mailing.

Fans who did not purchase season tickets in 2012 but are interested in season tickets for the 2013 campaign should contact the Mountaineer Athletic Club, by visiting www.MountaineerAthleticClub.com or calling 1-800-433-2072, for more information on football season ticket priority.

Season tickets are priced at $365 for the Mountaineers’ six-game home schedule, which features matchups with Big 12 Conference foes Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Texas and Iowa State.

Family FunZone Announced

The WVU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is creating a new seating section at Milan Puskar Stadium for the 2013 football season called the Family FunZone.

The Family FunZone is an alcohol-free, family-friendly section for season ticket holders at Milan Puskar Stadium. Season tickets in the Family FunZone are located in section 133 and cost $365 each. Family FunZone tickets do not require a MAC gift to purchase.

“Creating a family friendly environment at the stadium has always been a goal of ours,” WVU Director of Athletics Oliver Luck said. “As part of the evaluation process of our game day atmosphere, we believe it is important to offer a seating area that is alcohol free and more conducive to fans attending the game with children.”

Renewing season ticket holders in this section will have the option of maintaining their seats in section 133 or having their seats moved to section 132.

Existing WVU football season ticket holders in other sections of Milan Puskar Stadium may also request to have their seats relocated to the Family FunZone. All requests must be made in writing and sent to the Mountaineer Ticket Office with your season ticket renewal form and payment.

Any remaining season tickets for the 2013 season, including the Family FunZone section, will go on sale to the general public in June after the renewal process is complete. Specific details regarding the general public sale of season tickets will be announced at a later time.
