Sophomore gymnast Lia Salzano has found a new home at the end of the Mountaineers' beam lineup.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – This season, the West Virginia University gymnastics team will lift the veil and give Mountaineer fans a closer look in The Extra Tenth. Each Monday, a different gymnast will be featured.

The sixth edition features sophomore gymnast Lia Salzano. A two-event specialist, the Centreville, Va., native has hit in clutch situations for the Mountaineer beam lineup this season. She scored a team-best 9.8 at Utah this past Saturday and has been steady in the anchor position.
