Before seeing Venice on Thursday, the Mountaineers had a film session in the morning of its previous contests. In the afternoon, some of the stops for the members of the travel party included the San Marco Basilica, the San Marco Museum and Dolce Palace.

The Mountaineers will depart Venice on Friday for a two-and-a-half hour bus ride to Forli, Italy, where it will play Fulgor Libertas Forli Friday evening. The team will spend the night in Forli Friday with a game scheduled against another team from Italy on Saturday. The Mountaineers will bus back to Venice Saturday evening for an early flight home on Sunday.
