MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - With the Chillin4Charity Cold Water Challenge spreading rapidly throughout the country in support of the Jimmy V Foundation, the West Virginia men’s basketball staff joined the movement this week, by having ice cold water poured over their heads in order to raise funds.

WVU assistants Larry Harrison, Ron Everhart and Erik Martin participated, along with Coordinator of Basketball Operations Josh Eilert, strength coach Andy Kettler and graduate assistant Jay Kuntz. Coach Bob Huggins was unable to participate due to his recent hip replacement surgery.

The WVU staff was called out by the Marshall men’s basketball staff, and prior to WVU’s participation in the fundraiser, each staff member challenged fellow coaches around the country.

The charity fundraiser asks each coach that participates to donate money to the Jimmy V Foundation, with an even larger donation if they do not accept the challenge.
