The team arrives in Pittsburgh.
It’s not quite Around the World and 80 Days, but MSN’s Tony Caridi will still be adding some serious frequent flyer mileage to his account this week.

On Tuesday morning Tony pulled out of the Coliseum with the men’s basketball team for their week-long trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Mountaineers will fly from Pittsburgh to Atlanta before taking a connecting flight to San Juan. After covering West Virginia’s games on Thursday and Friday, Tony gets back on a plane and flies up to Louisville to broadcast the West Virginia-Louisville football game on Saturday. Then, it’s right back to the airport for a flight back to San Juan to wrap up the Honda Puerto Rico Tip-Off on Sunday.

Along the way, Tony will be sending us some photos and observations through his twitter feed all week long. Here is Tony’s personal itinerary for Wednesday:

Wake up, 8 a.m.
Breakfast and work on charts
Depart for one-hour shoot around in arena
Return to hotel for snack and then depart for two-hour practice at a local high school
Back to the hotel for lunch
Welcome reception at the hotel
Lights out
