MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia women’s basketball Hoops ‘n Heels group is hosting a clinic and tipoff luncheon on Saturday, Oct. 27, with registration starting at 10:30 a.m., at the WVU Coliseum.

In its third season with the Mountaineers, Hoops ‘n Heels is a program that allows women to network, socialize with, support and mentor the women’s basketball players.

Those in attendance will have the chance to sit in on a women’s basketball practice with a question and answer session with coach Mike Carey. They will also have the opportunity to interact with the 2012-13 women’s basketball team over lunch. In addition to activities in the Coliseum, there will be a behind-the-scenes tour of the newly opened WVU Basketball Practice Facility.
