MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The sixth annual Trunk-or-Treat will take place on Friday, Nov. 1, from 5:30-7 p.m., at the WVU Coliseum outer parking lots, which will reduce Coliseum parking for students, faculty and staff.
Sponsored by the Institute of Industrial Engineers, the event features various organizations across the University and from around the area that will hand out candy from the trunks of their vehicles to all children in costumes. When the event ends, all are invited in to the Coliseum for a free admission to the WVU women’s basketball exhibition game against Concord.
Students, faculty and staff who park in the Coliseum lots on a daily basis, are asked to make note of the reduced parking on Friday and plan accordingly.
To offset the parking loss on Friday, all are reminded that short-term parking is available at the Alumni Center, Mountaineer Station on Van Voorhis Road, at a variety of short-term lots on the Evansdale campus and in downtown parking garages and lots operated by the Morgantown Parking Authority. All of these alternatives have easy access to the PRT and Mountain Line bus system, which is free to WVU students, faculty and staff.
