Extra Time with Bryce Banuelos

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – With the 2013 season right around the corner, the West Virginia University women’s soccer team will be introducing itself to the Mountaineer faithful on WVUsports.com.

First up – freshman midfielder Bryce Banuelos. A native of Elmhurst, Ill., Banuelos netted a goal in her first career action as a Mountaineer in WVU’s 3-0 exhibition victory over Rutgers on Aug. 13. Banuelos, a top-ranked recruit and a member of Team Chicago Academy-Botafogo, is fresh off a 2-1 victory over Virginia’s VSA Heat Blue in the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championship.
