Prospect Camp
June 12, 2013

This 1-day prospect camp is the perfect setting to display your skills and your game to college coaches. Created specifically for high school players (class of 2013-2016), campers will be given the opportunity to showcase their abilities in a pro-style workout and in-game situations for the camp staff. Camp personnel will include the West Virginia University baseball staff, along with other college coaches.

Youth Camp
June 17-21, 2013

This camp is an excellent way for players to develop their skills in all areas of the game. Our knowledgeable and energetic staff will provide both group instruction and individual attention. Campers will be instructed the techniques and fundamentals of: hitting, pitching, infield, outfield, catching, baserunning, bunting, cut-offs & relays, rundowns, and sliding. Games will be played to emphasize the techniques learned in our daily instruction. All players will be grouped according to age and ability. Camp will run from 9am-noon and be open to players ages 5-12.

Infield/Hitting Camp
June 22-23, 2013

This two day specialty camp is designed for players that are interested in improving their infield and hitting skills in a small, skill-specific environment. Campers will learn the infield and hitting fundamentals and philosophies of West Virginia University Baseball through a variety of drills and game situations. All campers will receive individual instruction based on their strengths and weaknesses. Players will be grouped according to age, physical maturity, and overall ability. Camp will run from 1pm-4pm and is open to players ages 6-18.

Pitcher/Catcher Camp
June 22-23, 2013

This 2- day specialty camp is designed for players that are interested in improving their pitching or catching skills in a small, skill-specific environment. Campers will be coached through drills on the field and in live bullpens. Pitchers will also learn the same throwing program and arm strength and conditioning program performed daily by Mountaineer pitchers to build arm strength and prevent injury. Catchers will learn all fundamental catching principles. All campers will receive individual instruction based on their strengths and weaknesses. Players will be grouped according to age, physical maturity, and overall ability. Camp will run from 9am-12pm and is open to players ages 6-18.

Father / Son Camp
June 29-30, 2013

This two day camp is designed to help build the bond between father and son through the game of baseball. The West Virginia University coaching staff will teach the participants various drills, fundamentals, and mechanics of all phases of the game. The fathers will then coach their children through a variety of drills with the help and guidance of the WVU coaching staff. The camp is a tremendous opportunity to spend some quality time with your son as well as learning how to help his baseball development for years to come. Camp will run from 9am-4pm each day.

Become a Mountaineer Camp
August 5-8, 2013

This luxury camp provides players the opportunity to experience the true WVU player experience while also receiving instruction by and competing in front of the WVU coaching staff. This special, all-inclusive camp is limited to 40 campers. Participants will stay in the “Towers” and have access to the resident dining halls. Players will also receive a personalized locker in the WVU Baseball locker room, 2 authentic WVU t-shirts, and will wear authentic WVU game uniforms. Camp activities will consist of offensive/defensive skill instruction, a pro-style workout, and simulated games. Each camper will receive individual instruction based on their strengths and weaknesses and will receive an evaluation from the WVU coaching staff.

In addition to the baseball portion of camp, Coach Randy Mazey will be conducting a recruiting seminar detailing various aspects of the recruiting process. We will cover topics such as; academics, the NCAA Eligibility Center, how to promote yourself as a player, camps, showcases, travel teams, how to talk to college coaches, and much more.

Registration for the Team Camp will run from 2:00PM till 4:00PM on Wednesday, June 12th and will be located at the Evansdale Residential Complex (Towers)

Registration in the Team Camp includes enrollment in 7-on-7 Passing Tournament taking place on June 14 & 15.

Applications for the Team Camp must be sent in as a group by a coach. Individual applications will not be accepted.

Registration for the 7-on-7 Passing Tournament will run from 2:00PM till 4:00PM on Friday, June 14 and will be located at the Evansdale Residential Complex (Towers)

All Teams enrolled in the 7-on-7 Passing Tournament are guaranteed to play at least 4 games.

The WVU Setters Clinic is for setters of all levels – both girls and boys are invited to attend. Technique and consistent execution of sets will be the focus of this camp. This camp is for boys and girls of all levels looking to improve their overall volleyball knowledge and skill. At WVU we believe fundamentals are the foundation for making great volleyball players. Campers will be instructed on serving, passing, setting, blocking, digging, and attacking. The focus of this camp is fundamentals and technique, taught in a fun atmosphere. We will spend some time in the WVU Rec Center Swimming Pool and play sand volleyball – weather permitting. Camp will begin the afternoon of the 26th and end at noon on the 28th All camps are open to any and all entrants. Boys can only register as Commuter.

WVU Team Camp will give your team the chance to start the high school season off on the right foot. Each team will be assigned a camp coach, along with the high school coach when they attend. Teams will train their offensive and defensive systems, partake in team building activities, enjoy some time in the WVU Rec Center Swimming Pool, and compete in a Camp Tournament. Camp will begin the afternoon of the 29th and end at noon on the 31st. All camps are open to any and all entrants.

The curriculum for this camp is designed to maximize your potential as a player. Each session will be run by our senior staff and will be geared toward enhancing technical ability, as well as tactical awareness. Morning sessions will emphasize the technical aspects of the game, one-on-one attacking and defending, receiving under pressure and finishing. This camp is designed for the student-athlete who wants to purse their soccer career after high school . The Elite Program is one of our most advanced, challenging, and competitive training programs we offer. The camp will also cover areas such as NCAA Academic Requirements, Strength and Conditioning program for the advanced player, and How the Recruiting Process Works. Our philosophy is simple. We build a solid technical foundation and then challenge you to perform with limited time and space. At the end of this camp you will be physically and mentally drained. The West Virginia University Cross Country / Track & Field Camp is open to anyone middle school to high school age who competes in any event of track and field. During the camp the athletes will be able to explore event areas of interest and learn basic training and techniques of those events. The camp will also present a typical training program for the athletes to use for general fitness as well as strength and conditioning programs.

At Mountaineer Team and Individual Camp, we believe that we have developed a system of learning that is perfect for every individual. Our system exposes the individual to both moves and strategies from every position. Learn how to attack the legs from neutral, ride and pin from the top and escapes and reversals from the bottom.
