DIRECTOR OF ATHLETIC MARKETING: West Virginia University invites applications for the position of Director of Athletic Marketing.  The position will be responsible for developing, recommending and implementing marketing and promotional strategies and policies which will increase awareness and attendance; responsible for generating revenue for intercollegiate athletic programs via ticket sales and corporate sponsorships. The primary responsibility of the position is to increase revenue to the University through innovative ticket sales. Duties include, directing ticket marketing campaigns for men’s basketball, baseball, wrestling and other varsity sports as assigned and special events, including season ticket sales, single game ticket sales, group ticket sales and game promotions in addition to supervising event promotions for men’s basketball, baseball, wrestling and other varsity sports as assigned and special events. The position will be expected to coordinate outbound ticket sales campaigns with the IMG Learfield outbound ticket sales team. Master’s degree, preferably in sports administration, business administration, marketing or similar field and a minimum of 3 years marketing experience, preferably in sports and direct advertising sales is required.  Relative experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree. ASSISTANT WOMEN'S TENNIS COACH: West Virginia University invites applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach.  Duties and responsibilities include, assisting with the recruitment, guidance, education and development of student-athletes to achieve their fullest potential with the fundamental characteristics and requirements that are necessary to conduct and produce a successful university intercollegiate women’s tennis program while instilling the importance of academic achievements at the Division I level. Develop and maintain a comprehensive and functional knowledge of the sport, and actively seek to develop new methods and strategies of the sport.  Maintain continual and thorough knowledge of all applicable NCAA, Conference, University and department rules and regulations.  Must communicate and interact with personnel in all support areas in the athletic department, as well as within the university community, parents, alumni, and fans.  Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Tennis Coach. Bachelor’s degree and two years previous coaching experience, preferably at the Division I level, is required. DIGITAL MEDIA MANAGER: West Virginia University invites applications for the position of Digital Media Manager. This position will assist the Director of Digital Media in the oversight, production and management of content for West Virginia University’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics’ multiple websites, micro websites, mobile and social media platforms and overall digital information strategies while also assisting the athletics’ multimedia specialist, communications and marketing departments to create and develop promotional landing pages and contest forms. The position will serve as the daily manager of the official athletic website (www.wvusports.com) to post and direct story assignments while maintaining the efficiency, timeliness and effectiveness of the website and serve as an administrative and technical contact for the athletic department website and social domains.  Providing guidance to all units in the athletic department and potential third parties to develop high quality, relevant content in a timely fashion is expected.  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, journalism, communications, sport management, or a related field, is required.  Two years previous experience in web development and maintenance for the daily operations of a website is also required. ASSOCIATE SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR: West Virginia University invites applications for the position of Associate Systems Administrator.  The position will be responsible for providing first, second and third-level technical support, for on-site and some telephone-based technical support in solving significantly complex technical problems involving information technology.  PC based and apple computers will be supported by this position along with Cell Phones and Tablets.  Duties include, under supervision, researching problems and following process solutions to resolve desktop hardware/software related issues, developing documentation and materials to support business needs in response to user problems and questions.  The position will be expected to take calls from Staff and Coaches 24/7 and will be on site during all home football and basketball games in addition to other events, as requested.
