ELECTRONIC MEDIA TECHNICIAN SENIOR - West Virginia University invites applications for the position of Electronic Media Technician Senior. The position will be responsible for performing daily duties and responsibilities under the direction of the Electronics Engineer. Responsibilities include: Maintaining and installing broadcast cable backbones, working with equipment used at all WVU athletic facilities such as large scale LED video displays, digital scoreboards with network data feeds, digital and analog audio systems related to public address and broadcasting, performing maintenance, installation, and operation of sophisticated digital and analog audio and video equipment including software, supervising the Trades Specialist I and other job-related duties as assigned. An associate's degree in electronics, information technology, engineering or a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required. 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting complex electronic circuits and systems as well as test equipment, knowledge of electronic theory both analog and digital as well as components, and familiarity of windows based computers and standards of digital audio and video as specified by SMPTE is required.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF STUDENT-ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT - West Virginia University invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Development. The position will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to student-athletes to contribute to the educational and personal growth of student-athletes. Individual sport assignments will be identified upon hire. Responsibilities include: Evaluating student-athlete academic records to determine eligibility, implementing specific academic programs to assist student-athletes in meeting their educational goals, monitoring student-athletes during study hall and tutoring, and assisting student-athletes in identifying educational and career interests, selecting classes and determining academic majors. Must maintain frequent communication with coaches, faculty, tutors, and University professionals regarding student-athlete progress and concerns. A master’s degree, preferably in education, social science, counseling or a similar field and 2 years of experience in teaching, tutoring or otherwise instructing students in a higher education environment is required. Experience as a graduate assistant is acceptable.
INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT (Part-time) - West Virginia University invites applications for the position of Instructional Assistant. This position will specialize in providing time management, organization and academic success skills to student-athletes, management of sensitive and confidential information related to student-athletes, in addition to knowledge of and adherence to West Virginia University and NCAA regulations. A master’s degree, preferably in education, special education or a similar field and 1 year of experience in teaching, tutoring or otherwise instructing students in a secondary education or higher education environment is required.

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERNSHIP - The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics invites applications for a Graphic Design Internship. The internship is a volunteer opportunity within the WVU football program to develop conceptual idea/design for various visual materials for promotional and marketing purposes, such as brochures, posters, and flyers.
