ASSISTANT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR FOR BUSINESS OPERATIONS: West Virginia University (WVU) invites applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations. Duties and responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the Expert Business Office (EBO). This position will assist in the human resource functions of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, including management of all personnel files and payroll matters, administering the hiring of all casual and temporary employees, and developing and maintaining the department’s EBO website. Applicants will be expected to administer the new employee hiring process including coordination of benefit sessions for all new employees and serve as the point of contact for all camp employees. This position will be responsible for the reconciliation of PCard transactions and revenues and expenses for facilities rental and lease agreements. Applicants will also be expected to work with the Minor League baseball team and Department of Intercollegiate Athletics on the operating financials of the baseball park. Management of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics’ policies and procedures manual will be expected while assisting senior level administration with various duties and assignments. This is a twelve (12) month position. Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, or Juris Doctorate is required. Relevant experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree education.
