Football: Louisville Award Winners

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ 17-10 victory at Louisville on Saturday, Nov. 20.

Offensive Champion – Ryan Clarke; Defensive Champion – Scooter Berry, Chris Neild, Julian Miller, J.T. Thomas, Anthony Leonard, Najee Goode, Pat Lazear, Brandon Hogan, Terence Garvin, Robert Sands, Sidney Glover, Keith Tandy, Bruce Irvin, Brodrick Jenkins, Pat Miller, Eain Smith; Special Teams Champion – Gregg Pugnetti; Offensive Scout Champion – Entire Scout Team; Defensive Scout Champion – Entire Scout Team.

West Virginia (7-3, 3-2 BIG EAST) faces Pitt (6-4, 4-1 BIG EAST) in the 103rd Backyard Brawl at Heinz Field (65,050) on Friday, Nov. 26, at noon. The game will be televised on ABC.
