Football: Marshall Award Winners

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ 34-13 win over Marshall on Sunday, Sept. 4.

Offensive Champion – Geno Smith; Defensive Champion – Terence Garvin; Special Teams Champion – Cecil Level; Offensive Scout Champion – Cody Clay; Defensive Scout Champion – Ted Rietschlin.

West Virginia (1-0) faces Norfolk State (1-0) on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m., ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown. The game will be televised on the BIG EAST Network and will air locally on ROOT SPORTS.
