Football: Bowling Green Award Winners

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ 55-10 win against Bowling Green on Saturday, Oct. 1.

Offensive Champion – Dustin Garrison; Defensive Champion – Keith Tandy; Special Teams Champion – Tyler Bitancurt; Offensive Scout Champion – Russell Haughton-James; Defensive Scout Champion – Ben Tomasek.

No. 16/19 West Virginia (4-1) opens BIG EAST Conference action on Saturday, Oct. 8, at noon, when it faces Connecticut (2-3) at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown . The game will be televised on the BIG EAST Network.
