West Virginia is back in the Top 10. Following last Saturday’s 69-34 victory over Marshall, West Virginia jumped three spots in the USA Today coaches’ poll to No. 8 and moved up two spots in the Associated Press poll to No. 9 this week.

It is the 75th time West Virginia has cracked the Top 10 in the AP poll and the first time since the third week of the 2008 season when Bill Stewart was coaching the Mountaineers.

West Virginia (1-0) is idle this weekend and will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 15 in Landover, Md., to face James Madison in a non-conference game that will be played at FedEx Field.

There are still plenty of tickets remaining for that game and those can be purchased by contacting the Mountaineer Ticket Office toll-free at 1-800-WVU GAME or by logging on to WVUGAME.com.
