Men's Basketball: Alexander Honored

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia forward Joe Alexander has been selected as an AP Honorable Mention All-America. The junior from Mt. Airy, Md. averaged 16.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game for the Mountaineers this season. Alexander also averaged 24.1 points per contest over his last nine games to lead West Virginia to its third Sweet 16 appearance in four years.
