Women's Basketball: Repella Named All-Tourney

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University junior guard Liz Repella has been named to the Preseason WNIT all-tournament team.

The Steubenville, Ohio, native averaged 17.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 35 minutes per game, in helping the Mountaineers (2-1) reach the semifinals of the preseason tournament.

At Ohio State, in semifinal action last week, Repella notched a game-best 23 points including five 3-pointers, good for her 10th career 20-point effort and first of the season. She also had 13 points and 11 rebounds in the Marist win, her 14th career double-double, and chipped in a team-best 17 points in the tournament-opening victory against Towson.

Repella and the Mountaineers return to action tomorrow, Nov. 24, at 7 p.m. when they take on Duquesne (4-0) at the A.J. Palumbo Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.
