Women's Track: Mountaineers Prepare for UNC
Field events will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday with the track events set to start at 11:30 a.m. The meet will feature more than 15 schools from across the country, including Columbia, Duke, ECU, Elon, Lake Erie, NC State, Oklahoma, Radford, Stony Brook, Syracuse, Villanova and William & Mary. WVU will take a full roster this weekend, including the BIG EAST Field Athlete of the Week senior Chelsea Carrier. Carrier led the Mountaineers last week with a record-breaking performance in the heptathlon at the Texas Relays. The Buckhannon, W.Va., finished first with 5,927 total points which stands as the top performance in the country so far this season.
