The Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) is the fundraising arm of West Virginia University’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and operates in partnership with the WVU Foundation. The MAC works behind the scenes to support every men’s and women’s varsity team at WVU and seeks to attract, enlist and retain members, whose contributions and in-kind donations fuel the success of the entire intercollegiate athletic program.

The WVU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics pays 100% of the scholarships awarded to over 350 student-athletes in 17 varsity sports from monies raised by the MAC. MAC fundraising efforts also support capital projects required to build and maintain first-class athletic facilities. In addition, monies raised by the MAC are used to support a variety of programs which enhance the overall experience of WVU student-athletes.

The Mountaineer Athletic Club is dedicated to providing an exciting and rewarding experience for its members. New members can contribute at any level, but must make a minimum gift of $100 to the student-athletes scholarship fund to activate the membership and receive certain benefits. Some of the benefits associated with joining the MAC include the ability to request season tickets in football and basketball, parking, single game tickets and away game tickets.

Fans can renew or begin their membership online at MountaineerAthleticClub.com, over the phone by calling 1-800-433-2072, or by mail at: PO Box 877 Morgantown, WV 26505. Your individual and corporate contributions help Advance Scholarship and Build Champions.
