Football: Single Game Tickets on Sale Monday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Single-game and mini-package tickets for the 2011 West Virginia University football season will go on sale to the public on Monday, Aug. 8, at 9 a.m.

The Gold-Blue mini-package includes the Norfolk State, LSU and Louisville games and will be available for $180 per package.

Single-game tickets will be available for home games against Marshall, Norfolk State, Bowling Green, Connecticut, Louisville and Pitt. Purchases will be limited to four tickets per customer for the Marshall game. No other home games will be limited at this time.

Single-game tickets will not be available for the home contest against LSU.

Tickets for West Virginia’s five road contests also are available. No ticket limits are placed on the road contests.

Tickets can be purchased on-line at WVUGAME.com, by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or in person at the Mountaineer Ticket Office in the WVU Coliseum.

West Virginia opens its season on Sunday, Sept. 4, at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium against Marshall in the "Friends of Coal Bowl" at 3:30 p.m.
