MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – With the expected increase of recreational vehicles on campus for this weekend’s WVU-LSU football game, parking at the WVU Coliseum on Friday, Sept. 23, will be extremely limited.

The left side of the Coliseum parking lot will be closed and reserved for recreational vehicle parking starting at 11 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 22. All vehicles that have not been moved by 7 a.m. on Friday will be towed to the Prete Building off University Avenue.

Recreational vehicles may enter the WVU Coliseum at 8 a.m. on Friday, with parking available for $80. Free parking for cars will be available on Friday and Saturday, but spaces will be limited due to the increased amount of recreational vehicles.

With the Coliseum parking limitations for Friday, students, faculty and staff are encouraged to use the Mountaineer Station parking garage, located off Van Voorhis Road.

On Saturday, Central Cab shuttle buses will begin leaving the Coliseum at 5:30 p.m., and will run until approximately one hour after the game. Cost is $4.00 round trip. A disabled-accessible shuttle bus also will begin leaving the Coliseum at 5:30 p.m., and provide return service after the game.

All recreational vehicles must vacate the Coliseum parking lot by noon on Sunday.

The No. 16/16 WVU football team plays host to No. 2/3 LSU on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 8 p.m., at Milan Puskar Stadium. Saturday’s game against the Tigers is a sellout – no tickets remain.
