MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Redshirt senior Matt Ryan and redshirt junior Colin Johnston each moved up in two separate individual wrestling rankings after their impressive performances at the University of Maryland Duals in College Park, Md., this past Sunday.

Ryan (184) jumped up two spots in the WrestlingReport.com rankings to No. 22 and rose one spot in the InterMatWrestle.com rankings to No. 17 after going 2-0 with one pin and one major decision against Johns Hopkins and Franklin & Marshall.

Johnston (133), who did not allow a single dual point against during his matches, moved up one spot in both polls. The Eighty-Four, Pa., native is now No. 14 in the InterMatWrestle.com rankings and No. 13 in the WrestlingReport.com rankings.

Redshirt senior Brandon Williamson (HWT) remained at No. 12 in the WrestlingReport.com rankings, while redshirt sophomore Nathan Pennesi (141) fell one spot to No. 25.

Pennesi also entered the InterMatWrestle.com rankings for the first time this week at the No. 20 spot.

The Mountaineers will return to action this Saturday when they travel to the Washington & Jefferson Tournament in Washington, Pa.
