MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Senior Taylor Camp of the West Virginia University men’s swimming team was named the BIG EAST Men’s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for his performances in a double-dual meet last weekend.

Camp posted several top times while competing against Cincinnati and Villanova. He recorded a time of 49.36 in the 100 fly and a first-place finish in the 200 fly with a time of 1:51.15. Camp also led the 400 free relay team to a victory when he swam the first leg in 22.25. Overall, Camp’s victories paced the Mountaineers to a sweep over the BIG EAST foes.

Both the men and the women will be in action this weekend at the Pitt Invitational from Nov. 18-20 at Trees Pool in Pittsburgh, Pa.
