MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia remains 23rd in this week's USA Today coaches' poll, announced earlier today. The Mountaineers are not ranked in the Associated Press top 25, WVU just outside the top 25 at 26th this week.

West Virginia is the only Big East team in either poll.

The Mountaineers (7-3) were idle last Saturday in preparation for the 104th Backyard Brawl against Pitt this Friday, Nov. 25, at 7 p.m. at Milan Puskar Stadium. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.

The Mountaineers and Panthers are in a three-way tie for second place in the Big East standings with Cincinnati; Louisville and Rutgers lead the league with 4-2 records. Other key Big East games this weekend include Louisville at South Florida, Cincinnati at Syracuse and Rutgers at Connecticut.

There are still tickets remaining for Friday's clash against Pitt and those can be purchased online at WVUGAME.com or by calling the Mountaineer Ticket Office toll-free at 1-800-WVU GAME.

The ticket office will be open for normal business hours on Monday and Tuesday; Wednesday the ticket office will be open until 2 p.m. and then if there are tickets still remaining, those will be available for sale at the stadium on Friday beginning at 5 p.m.
