Women's Basketball: Palmer Earns Weekly Honor
The Mount Vernon, N.Y., native helped the Mountaineers to a 94-32 win over Mount St. Mary’s last week as she paved the way with a game-leading 21 points on 50 percent shooting (7-14), including four 3-pointers. Her efforts helped WVU record a season-high 60 percent shooting from the field. Palmer joins redshirt-junior Ayana Dunning as the only two WVU players to earn the weekly honor this season.
