MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – With its first home match set for this Friday, West Virginia officials are planning several promotional days for the Mountaineer wrestling team.
The season opener against the Terrapins is designated as one of two “Dollar Days”, with all tickets, hot dogs, popcorn and Coca-Colas available for purchase for just one dollar. Additionally, the meet also is a “Poster Day,” and the 2011-12 WVU poster will be available for all fans to pick up. Action is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
The final “Dollar Day” is designated for Saturday, Feb. 4, at 7:30 p.m. as WVU takes on EWL foe Pitt. The match, which is WVU’s final home match of the season, will also serve as “Senior Night” for grapplers Brandon Williamson, Matt Ryan and Kyle Eason.
The Mountaineer Ticket Office is now offering a Varsity Sports Flex Plan, a bargain for families who plan on attending a WVU varsity sporting event. Flex plan packages are available for just $20. A package provides 10 vouchers redeemable for single game tickets at any of these WVU sporting events: baseball, gymnastics and wrestling.
Flex plan packages can be purchased online at WVUGAME.com, by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or by stopping by the Mountaineer Ticket Office in the WVU Coliseum.
