Rifle: WVU Maintains No. 3 Ranking

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University rifle team has maintained its No. 3 spot in this week’s College Rifle Coaches Associations (CRCA) Poll.

The CRCA Poll is a weekly polling, with this week's rankings based on the team’s average of scores from matches at three different venues.

The Mountaineers (9-0, 4-0 GARC) own a 4680.0 average.

TCU is ranked first with an average of 4700.0. Kentucky is No. 2 with an average of 4699.33.

Army is ranked at No. 4 with a 4655.33 average and is followed by Alaska-Fairbanks at No. 5 (4654.33).

The bottom of the top 10 includes Ole Miss (4651.67) at No. 6, Nevada at No. 7 (4650) and UTEP (4647.67) at No. 8. JSU is No. 9 (4645.67), and Murray State (4633.33) is ranked at No. 10.

The Mountaineers travel to No. 1 TCU for a match on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the TCU Rifle Range, in Fort Worth, Texas.
