MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The No. 20-ranked West Virginia University gymnastics team will promote breast cancer awareness with its annual “Pink Meet” this Sunday, Feb. 12, at 2 p.m., at the WVU Coliseum.

The Mountaineers (5-2, 3-0 EAGL) will play host to No. 11 Ohio State, No. 13 Auburn and Ball State in their lone home quad-meet of the season.

“We host a ‘Pink Meet’ every year to raise awareness of breast cancer and all cancers,” says Mountaineer coach Jason Butts. “We want to show support for all those afflicted with these diseases. The fight against cancer is something that is very important to this team.”

Sunday’s meet also is a “Dollar Day,” with all tickets, hot dogs, popcorn and Coca-Colas available for $1 each.
