MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Despite its second loss of the season, and first Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) defeat, the West Virginia University rifle team retained its No. 3 ranking in the College Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Poll.

TCU, the 2010 national champions, holds on to its No. 1 ranking with a 4700.0 average, while Kentucky, the defending national champions, is steady at No. 2 with a 4699.33 average. The Wildcats handed the Mountaineers their first conference loss of the season on Feb. 3, 4680-4650.
