MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University sophomore Hope Sloanhoffer was named to the CollegeSports360.com women’s gymnastics Primetime Performers Weekly Honor Roll for the week of Feb. 6-12.

The Cornwall, N.Y., native joins UCLA’s Olivia Courtney, Arizona’s Aubrey Cristello and NC State’s Diahanna Ham on the honor roll; Georgia’s Kat Ding earned the sport’s Primetime Performer of the Week honor.

Sloanhoffer secured the distinction after her first place, 39.175 all-around victory, her third of the season, in the No. 22 Mountaineers’ upset win over then-No. 13 Auburn on Feb. 12. She also tied for first on beam with a season-high 9.85 score and finished fourth on bars with a career-high 9.85.

Sloanhoffer, the East Atlantic Gymnastics League’s (EAGL) top all-around gymnast for the last five straight weeks, has earned five 39.-0 plus scores this season and has accumulated 11 marks of 9.8 or better.

The Mountaineers (7-3, 3-0 EAGL) scored 195.175 in their victory over the Tigers (193.65). No. 11 Ohio State won the quad-meet with a 195.45 mark, while Ball State scored 191.775 and finished fourth.

WVU opens a stretch of three straight road meets at EAGL foe Maryland on Saturday, Feb. 18, in a quad-meet with league opponent Rutgers and William & Mary, at 7 p.m., at the Comcast Center, in College Park, Md.
