Volleyball Class Recognized

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (May 30, 2012) – The West Virginia University volleyball team’s incoming recruiting class recently received Highest Honorable Mention from

The complete list included the Top 30 recruiting classes, plus another 17 receiving Highest Honorable Mention recognition and 30 other schools receiving High Honorable Mention.

West Virginia was one of seven Big 12 schools who made the list and was the only school from the state of West Virginia.

This is the highest ranked recruiting class for third-year coach Jill Kramer at WVU. The Mountaineers were distinguished as High Honorable Mention in 2011 and Honorable Mention and High Honorable Mention in 2006 and 2005, respectively.

Kramer’s incoming class includes Arielle Allen (Lewistown, Mont./Western Wyoming Community College), Nikki Attea (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville North), Monique Kemp (Pembroke Pines, Fla./Dade Christian), Kendall LaVine (Boulder, Colo./Fairview), Anna Panagiotakopoulos (Phoenix, Ariz./Xavier College Preparatory), Hannah Sackett (Somers, Mont./Flathead), Brittany Sample (Lewisville, Texas/Hebron) and Caleah Wells (Red Oak, Texas/Red Oak).
