Twitter: Big 12 Countdown Giveaway

West Virginia University will join the Big 12 Conference on July 1, 2012.

Big things are coming for West Virginia University as the Mountaineers prepare to become an official member of the Big 12 Conference on July 1, 2012.

As part of the Big 12 Conference countdown to July 1, WVU athletics' official twitter account, @WVUSportsBuzz, will be giving away Big 12 branded items daily to lucky fans who participate by retweeting tweets.

The Big 12 Countdown begins with a Big 12 outdoor chair as the first prize on June 19 and will feature one prize per day through June 30.

The countdown will conclude with a grand prize on July 1, WVU's first official day as a member of the Big 12 Conference, of four tickets to West Virginia's conference opening football game against Baylor.
