Men's Soccer: Bevin Named to Watch List
The forward from Napier, New Zealand, had a breakout season as a freshman in 2011, scoring seven goals with two assists in 20 games. Bevin was named the Big East Rookie of the Year, ECAC Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Year, a CollegeSoccerNews.com first team all-freshman squad member and to the 2011 Soccer America All-Freshman team. Bevin was also named to the All-Big East Third Team and was an NSCAA All-Northeast region member. West Virginia opens the 2012 season with the WVU Nike Classic, hosting Hartford on Aug. 25, at 7 p.m., at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. |
