Women's Swimming Earns Academic Honor
The squad finished the spring semester with a 3.12 GPA, after finishing the fall with a 3.19 GPA. “Doing well in the classroom always come first and I’m very proud of the women continuing their academic excellence,” coach Vic Riggs says. “Academics are a priority of the program and the success shows as this is the ninth-consecutive semester that the women have earned this honor.” The award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented to teams achieving this standard in the fall and spring semester. |
