SI.com Preseason All-America Team
Geno Smith and Tavon Austin were named to the SI.com preseason All-America football second team, revealed on Thursday. The Big 12 had 11 players named to the two teams. Thirty teams from seven different conferences, as well as one independent, are represented on the first and second teams. The LSU Tigers led the way with five players, followed by the USC Trojans with four. Alabama, Wisconsin and Oregon each had three players named.
