Morning Scrimmage

- The team held its first practice of the day at 9 a.m., on Tuesday morning. Following a brief stretch the team then scrimmaged for 30 minutes.

- Tuesday afternoon featured lunch from Qdoba, and will follow with a 4 p.m. training session.

- Wednesday will be the first action against an opposing team as WVU will travel to George Mason for the lone exhibition match of preseason at 7 p.m. The two squads played last season in Morgantown prior to the season.

- TopDrawerSoccer.com is releasing its rankings this week and recently unveiled the Top 20 players in the MAC. Five players from West Virginia were represented as Eric Schoenle was ranked the No. 2 player, followed by Travis Pittman (No. 6), Uwem Etuk (No. 7), Andy Bevin (No. 9) and Shadow Sebele (No. 11).
