Meet Noelle Honeycutt
With the 2012 season underway, WVUsports.com will get to know the 12 newcomers on the West Virginia women’s soccer team. Today’s edition features Huntsville, Ala., native Noelle Honeycutt. What attracted you to play soccer at West Virginia University? I loved the atmosphere surrounding the coaching staff, team and community. Was distance a concern in picking a school to attend? To an extent, it was. I didn't want to go too far from home, like the West Coast or New England, but I also didn't want to stay in-state either. Who has been the biggest impact on your soccer career and why? My parents because they have always supported me in my goal of playing college soccer. What do you miss most about home right now? I miss my family and dog. You are a very good student, are you looking forward to school starting next week? Yes, I'm looking forward to a different routine, meeting new people and working in the engineering department. Twitter or Facebook? Ice cream or cake?
