Schoenle Named Preseason All-American
Senior defender Eric Schoenle of the WVU men’s soccer team has been named a Preseason First Team All-American by College Soccer News and College Sports Madness, the web sites announced today. Schoenle was an NSCAA Second Team All-American in 2011, finishing the season with three goals and three assists for nine points. A native of Yardley, Pa., he is one of two Mid-American Conference players to be named to the first team, joining Akron’s Scott Caldwell. The WVU men’s soccer team opens its 2012 season with a match against Hartford on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. |
