McCoy Named Athlete of the Week
McCoy was named to The Mason Inn Patriot Invitational all-tournament team last weekend.
The Clare, Ill., native posted 21 kills, a .308 hitting percentage, three service aces and 11 total blocks. McCoy is currently second on the team in kills (46), service aces (7) and total blocks (20).

The Mountaineers opened the 2012 season with the WVU Alumni Open on Aug. 31 … of the 10 runners that competed in pairs, freshman Sydney Scott and redshirt junior Jordan Hamric won the race with a combined time of 30:32 … Scott was the fastest of all runners with a time of 15:09.
