MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ 48-45 win at Texas on Saturday, Oct. 6. Offensive Champion – Andrew Buie; Defensive Champion – Josh Francis; Special Teams Champion – Stedman Bailey; Offensive Scout Champion – Logan Moore; Defensive Scout Champion – William Marable. West Virginia (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) faces Texas Tech (4-1, 1-1 Big 12) on Saturday, Oct. 13, at Jones AT&T Stadium (60,454) in Lubbock, Texas, in a Big 12 Conference matchup, at 3:30 p.m., ET. The game will be televised live on ABC. |
