MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University wrestling team member Colin Johnston has been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA.

After missing the previous two seasons due to two separate shoulder surgeries, Johnston has returned to the lineup this season and sports a career record of 32-16.

“Our entire staff is very excited that Colin has been granted a sixth year of eligibility,” said coach Craig Turnbull. “By gaining the extra year of eligibility, Colin will have the chance to realize his dream of becoming a national champion.”
