Pennesi, Three Others Stand Pat in Rankings
Pennesi (141) checked in at No. 18 in Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine’s poll, No. 19 in InterMat’s poll, No. 19 in Amateur Wrestling News’ poll and No. 24 in WrestlingReport’s poll. The Latrobe, Pa., native leads the team with 10 victories this season. Shane Young (125) is ranked No. 24 by WrestlingReport, as he continues to work his way back from an ankle injury. Colin Johnston (133) garnered a ranking of No. 26 from Wrestling Report. Lance Bryson (184) was the final Mountaineer to earn a ranking, as he is ranked No. 22 by WrestlingReport. The Shoaf, Pa., native placed eighth at the Las Vegas Invitational.
