Holmes Earns Big 12 Honor
The New Haven, Conn., native led all players with a career-high 15 points off the bench in West Virginia's 64-48 win against Marshall. It marked her second game in double figures and the second time she has led the Mountaineers in scoring. Holmes recorded a pair of three-pointers, to go along with five rebounds, two blocks and two steals. She averaged 12.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in two games as she added nine points in WVU's 64-47 win against St. Bonaventure. Holmes earns the first-ever Big 12 honor for West Virginia women’s basketball. The Mountaineers will play host to Youngstown State on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. in the WVU Coliseum. |
