Holgorsen Lands Four Mid-Year Signees

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University football coach Dana Holgorsen has announced the signing of four players to national letters of intent and athletic grant-in-aids for the spring 2013 semester.

Ronald Carswell, WR, 6-0, 180, Macon, Ga., Itawamba Community College

Former Alabama player who played one season for coach Joe Williams at Itawamba Community College, leading the team to a 6-3 record … finished the season with 44 receptions for 429 yards and one touchdown … brought down five receptions for 98 yards against Mississippi Delta … previously played for Westside High, where he was ranked as the No. 35 player in the state of Georgia by the Atlanta Journal Constitution … 2009 AAAA All-State selection by the Atlanta Journal Constitution … caught 41 passes for 715 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior … hauled in 34 receptions for 627 yards and three scores in 2008, while compiling 33 catches for 391 yards and two touchdowns in 2006 … three-star prospect according to 247sports.com; No. 25 junior college wide receiver … also offered by Kentucky.

Terrell Pinson, S, 6-3, 200, Tupelo, Miss., Itawamba Community College

Played two seasons for coach Joe Williams at Itawamba Community College, leading the team to a combined 10-8 record … made a total of 36 tackles, including 25 solo, with four interceptions and five pass breakups in 2012 … attended Tupelo High, where he recorded 29 receptions for 747 yards and eight touchdowns in 2010 … also returned two kickoffs and two punts for touchdowns … ESPN.com three-star prospect … two-star prospect according to 247sports.com; No. 18 junior college safety … also offered by Mississippi State.

Dreamius Smith, RB, 5-10, 215, Wichita, Kan., Butler Community College
