For Whom The Bell Tolls
West Virginia will resume prep work for Syracuse this afternoon with an outdoor practice scheduled at Fordham University. Afterward, the team is scheduled to take a tour of the 9/11 Memorial before non-senior players will attend a private reception at Greenwich Village Country Club. Senior team members will take part in a private team dinner in New York City. Yesterday, the team’s preparations were interrupted by a winter storm that brought high winds, freezing rain and ice into the New York City metropolitan area, forcing the Mountaineers indoors to work out in the hotel ballroom. “It was Arena Football,” said West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen of yesterday’s practice. “But we’ll line up and put a good product out there.” Kickoff for Saturday’s game is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. Be sure to stop back later this evening for a recap of the day’s events in the Pinstripe Bowl Report, presented by Coca-Cola and hosted by Tony Caridi. Also, don’t forget to tune in to Root Sports on Saturday at noon for Mountaineer Game Day 2012 Pinstripe Bowl Special. |
