Woke up to another beautiful, and probably our best day in the Keys yet, on Thursday. One gets accustom to the pace of life here real quickly.

During warm-up I was able to speak with the current (Doc Boilini) and past (Bob Epling) Presidents of the Orange Bowl Committee and found out that Bob was born in Madison, W.Va., in Boone County. He first met Ed Pastilong when Ed was coaching at Scott High School. What a small world and there are Mountaineers everywhere.

Kelli and Corky (the pool and meet managers) have done a great job of making us welcome and ran a great meet.

We had a lot of fun and some good swims at the Orange Bowl Swim Classic.

Looking forward to a great second week of training here in the Keys.
